Located in the Annupur district of Rajasthan, Amarkantak is a famous pilgrimage town, throng by hordes of Shiva devotees from all over India. “Also referred as “Teerthraj,” this sacred city is the meeting point of great Vindhyas and Satpura ranges. Amarkantak has countless temples dedicated to lord Shiva. Amarkantak offers limited number of accommodation options for pilgrims and leisure travellers. The hotels in Amarkantak are not sufficient to cater to the large number of devotees visiting the place. Madhya Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation runs some hotels in Amarkantak that offer well-appointed accommodation with all basic facilities at a very reasonable price. Apart from the budget hotels in Amarkantak, Dharamshalas and Ashram are also good options for a comfortable stay. There are no deluxe and luxury hotels in Amarkantak for high-end travellers. |
