Located at Partagali Village on the banks of the holy river Kushavati, Shri Saunsthan Gokarn Math was established by Shreernai Narayanateertha Swamiji in the year 1475 A. D. This ancient Math of Gaud Sawarswat Brahmin Vaishnav Community maintains contact with the scattered members of the community inGoa. The most important festival celebrated here is Maini Paumima" in the month of Pausa (January). Partagali where this Math is situated is popularly known as Bramhasthan and has been developed in to a major center of cultural activities and learning.
