Shri Mahadeo Bhumika Temple is situated at Sal at a distance of 25km from Mapusa. The temple is dedicated to Lord Mahadeva which is in Goa, an incarnation of Lord Shiva. Surrounded by lush greenery, it is renowned for its three-day festival of "Gades" that commences on Phalgun Purnima. The devotees throng from various parts of India to witness this grand affair. It is believed that people can have the darshan of Devchars during Gade festival.
