This 500 years old temple in goa is dedicated to Goddess Bhagvati Asthbhuja. Two life size images of elephants made of black stone adorn the entrance of the temple. The idol of the Goddess Bhagvati Asthbhuja stands on a high pedestal is very imposing. Thousands of visitors assemble at the temple during Dussherra, which is celebrated with full devotion and gaiety from Ashwin Shuddha Pratipada to Poomima.
