Morjaee Temple is situated at Morjim in Pemem Taluka. Surrounded by lush greenery, this ancient historical temple is known for its main festival named "Kalas Utsav" which is celebrated once in three, five, seven or nine years. The duration of the festival is nearly a month beginning from Phalgun Shuddha Panchami. The last concluding seven days are a big and religious affair when devotees from Goa, Sindhudurg, Karwar and other parts of the country assemble in large number. Other festivals celebrated at Morjaee Temple include Dussherra, annual Zatra "divzam", Gudi Padwa and ghodemodni.
